IPS EMPRESS, ERIS BONDING INSTRUCTIONS

| 1. Remove temporary and clean and dry preparation. |
2. Try in the final restoration with Variolink Try-In paste, or with glycerine gel. (Liquid Strip) |
3. Isolate operating field with appropriate devices. |
4. Treat isolated preparation with preferred new generation enamel/dentin bonding system per manufacturer's instructions. |

| 5. Clean internal aspects of restoration. Use phosphoric acid for 15 seconds for IPS-Empress. Sandblast for Targis. |
6. Apply silane coupler (Monobond-S) to internal surfaces, let air dry 60 seconds. Apply unfilled resin (Heliobond) to internal surfaces, thin with air and protect restoration from light. |
7. Select appropriate shade and viscosity of Variolink. Dispense and mix base and catalyst in a 1:1 ratio. |
8. Place mixed cement into restoration and onto preparation if possible. Seat restoration with slow,even pressure. |

| 9. Maintain seating pressure and remove excess cement with a dry brush, or a brush dipped in unfilled resin (Heliobond). |
10. Optional: Apply Liquid Strip to margins. |
11. Light cure the final restoration from all aspects for a minimum of 40 seconds each. |
12. Adjust and finish with fine diamonds. Complete final polishing with Politip Finishers/ Polishers and Diamond Polishing Paste. |
